Nodal officer pro bono club MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY MUMBAI

As the Nodal Officer of the Pro Bono Club, I take great pride in the dedication of our students and faculty members to providing essential legal aid and raising awareness about legal rights. Recently, we organized workshops focused on Child Care and Protection under the POCSO Law, delving into critical issues surrounding child welfare. We also explored the impacts of technology on society, including discussions on AI and FinTech. Furthermore, our team conducted comprehensive surveys in rural areas to understand the challenges faced by communities, aiming to address their needs effectively and contribute to positive change.

Pro bono club at MNLU Mumbai has been setup under the aegis of the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice Government of India. The club has been working to bridge the gap in the society by spreading legal awareness and making the people aware of not only their legal rights but also providing them guidance to enforce the rights. The activities of the club were carried to strengthen the people with the knowledge so that there problems can be solved in a speedier manner. The PBAs will widen their outreach so that more people can be benefited under this scheme.

The club is a congregation of students that are aiding in the implementation of law in a way that gives back to the society.
